Regarding delays in delivery of packages due to extremely cold weather

Currently, an extremely strong cold wave is flowing from Hokkaido to Kyushu, and heavy snow and strong winds are causing road closures (including ordinary roads) on various expressways over a wide area, as well as cancellations of flights and ships (ferries), which are expected to cause delays in transportation.
Due to the snowfall that began yesterday, highways and general roads have been closed throughout Western Japan, especially in the Hokuriku, Kansai, Chugoku, Shikoku, and Kyushu regions, and significant delays are expected in the shipping and delivery of packages.
■ Areas where we have suspended accepting luggage: Luggage addressed to parts of Tottori Prefecture, parts of Shimane Prefecture, and parts of Okayama Prefecture
■ Areas where there are particular delays in delivery and shipping of packages: ・Packages addressed to Niigata Prefecture, Toyama Prefecture, Ishikawa Prefecture, and Fukui Prefecture・Packages addressed to Kyoto Prefecture, Shiga Prefecture, Hyogo Prefecture, and Wakayama Prefecture
